Guy graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1980 with a BA in Mass Communications and a Minor in Business Administration, while working full time for a local ABC/CBS affiliate. He has gone on to use this experience to help Church and Christian School organizations plan, market and achieve their goals for new facilities. He is fully involved with these organizations on a personal basis to ensure that every step, from financing through the end of construction, is satisfactory to all involved.
