Jason Thrasher Photography is located in Athens, Georgia in the historic Five Points district where his darkroom and portrait studio are located. Thrasher has been shooting portraits, weddings and commercial work for nearly twenty years. His fine art work is widely collected and exhibited nationally; just this year his work was featured at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London in an R.E.M. photography retrospective, and the work he completed while an artist in residence at Reynolds was featured in the publication Linger Longer. He holds a BFA in Photography from the Lamar Dodd School of Fine Art.

Thrasher's commercial/editorial clients include: Interscope Records, New West Records, Jane Magazine, Kiplinger's, REM Athens Ltd, Ritz-Carlton, The Drive-By Truckers, Hill Street Press and Chris Hudson Couture. His images have been published in Entertainment Weekly, Paste, Billboard, Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, Art Papers and many more. .

Jason's wife Beth Hall Thrasher, an Emmy award winning art director, is the studio's on site digital imaging expert. Jason also has a number of talented photo assistants who work with him on shoots and in the office.

We also welcome Chad Osburn to the Jason Thrasher Photography team! Chad is now shooting both weddings and commercial jobs for us. He came to Athens via Chicago where he worked for a prominent studio for many years.
