Jason Thrasher Photography is located in Athens, Georgia in the historic Five Points district. Thrasher has been shooting portraits, weddings and commercial work for nearly twenty years. His fine art work is widely collected and exhibited nationally; in 2008 his work was featured at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London in an R.E.M. photography retrospective, his coverage of the Drive-by Truckers and Of Montreal has been published in dozens of national publications, and he recently completed a new body of fine art work while an artist in residence at Reynolds Plantation. He holds a BFA in Photography from the Lamar Dodd School of Fine Art. Please take a look at Jason's artist's resume.

Jason's wife Beth Hall Thrasher, an Emmy award winning art director, is the studio's on site digital imaging expert. Jason also has a number of talented photo assistants who work with him on shoots and in the office.
We also welcome Chad Osburn to the Jason Thrasher Photography team! Chad is now shooting weddings and commercial jobs with us. He came to Athens via Chicago where he worked for a prominent studio for many years.
